Zephyr AS is a Norwegian wind power company owned by the energy producers Vardar AS, EB Kraftproduksjon AS, Østfold Energi AS and the Danish energy company DONG Energy Power AS. The four owners have great ambitions and intend to make Zephyr an offensive and strong instrument within the wind power development in Norway.
Vardar and Østfold Energi have been working together on wind power projects for some years. They own 50 per cent each in Kvalheim Kraft which owns and operates thirteen wind turbines at Mehuken wind farm in Vågsøy Municipality. DONG Energy has a great wind power portfolio and long experience in the area of planning, constructing and operating wind parks in Europe.
